Prime Agers engage actively in God’s work locally and globally.
We are all missionaries.
[Jesus asked,] “Which of these do you think had mercy on him.” “The expert in the law replied, ‘The one who had mercy on him.’ “Jesus told him, Go, and do likewise'” (Luke 10:35-37).
We learn about missions.
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.””He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).
We care for missionaries.
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me'” (Matthew 25:40).
We Pray – We Serve – We Support
Regularly scheduled times are the months with a fifth Sunday. These opportunities are not used for support raising as PimreAgers directly supports three missionary families, but are a time to hear from church-sponsored missionaries when possible who enlighten us about their mission organization and work, and broaden our exposure to various mission purposes, services, methods and locations.
1) The guest is a Prime Agers or a church-sponsored missionary or missionary couple when possible.
2) The purpose is to enlighten us about the mission work being accomplished. |
3) Mission work with various purposes, services, methods, and locations are represented.
We encourage PrimeAgers to email, send letters, cards at any time of year. Our purpose is to tell them something about ourselves and encourage them in their work of of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
PrimeAgers serve in many mission opportunities including Short Term Missions, local outreach to the homeless, women living in transitional living quarters, those living in motels, Good News Clubs, and other projects as may be presented by the PrimeAgers Leadership Team.
